Minimum weight requirement is 2 lbs. per package for personal effects / 2 lbs. for electronic items/ commercial quantity.
Should your package be large and disproportionate to its weight, the chargeable weight will be based on the volume of the package. The computation is: L x W x H /166 = lbs.
Chargeable weight that has a 0.3 or higher fraction of a pound is rounded up to the next pound. Example: a package weighing 2.3 lbs. will count as 3 lbs.
The exact freight charges can only be determined after its weight and size are measured in our New York office.
We can consolidate all your packages in one flight. Consolidation does not mean unpacking each parcel then putting them all in one big box. Packages will be sent out “as is”.
Request for consolidation must be submitted through our site before packages are delivered to our NY office.
All packages for consolidation received from Friday to Thursday will be shipped out on the FRIDAY flight (cut-off is at 12nn, one day before the flight).
Additional surcharges may be imposed on some electronic gadgets / commercial shipments / highly valued items.
For cardless shopping transactions, the following surcharges shall apply:
Items worth $100 and below = $4.00
Items worth over $100 = 4% service charge of the total amount purchased
Packages are insured for $3.00 per pound up to $100.00 for total loss. This settlement includes freight reimbursement and the cost of your packages. lf you require more coverage there is an additional premium of US$5.00 for each US$100.00 value.
Packages are not insured for breakage or partial loss, as per airline regulations.
Acts of God and acts of war, under international law, such as unforeseen acts of nature like lightning, typhoon, earthquake, hurricane or acts of war like civil unrest; terrorism and any acts of terrorism are not covered by the insurance.
Insurance may be claimed only for packages registered on this site before arrival of the package in our US office with detailed information and corresponding tracking number.
Proof of Signed Delivery Receipt by our US representative will only be accepted as the package being received
USA Direct PHL is not responsible or obliged to address mistaken/ defective items sent by online stores/ suppliers whenever its credit card is used for cardless shopping.
To facilitate shipping process and ensure package security, each item you send must have a detailed description, as required by Customs and the US Homeland Security Agency.
Packages without sufficient description and packages sent by unregistered customers may be subject to delay or be disapproved for shipment. Additional documentation fee of $2 will be charged for every package received without proper description.
USA Direct PHL abides by the customs security inspection procedures of the Philippines and United States. We STRICTLY PROHIBIT shipments of weapons such as:
Guns/ammunitions, their parts and accessories (even with legal permits) or replicas, toy guns or any item shaped like a gun or ammunition;
Any flammable goods and hazardous materials including flammable gas, organic peroxide, oxidizer, toxic materials (pesticides, alike materials), aerosols (spray paint, hair spray), matches, firecrackers;
Contraband and illegal drugs;
Radioactive elements; infectious substance; corrosive materials; precious metals (gold. Silver, etc.);
Any kind of currency (paper bills, coins);
Anyone caught shipping any of these will face legal charges stipulated in Philippine and U.S. laws.
USA Direct PHL will hold your package for a maximum of 90 calendar days from date of its arrival. Unclaimed packages after this period will be forfeited.
By sending your package through USA Direct PHL, you are agreeing to all its terms and conditions and you are indemnifying and freeing USA Direct PHL from any fines, penalties, forfeitures or other costs arising from your failure to comply with the above stated requirements.
USA Direct PHL is not liable for delays beyond our control. It is the air carrier’s prerogative to bump-off or offload boxes even if premium rates have been paid.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE SENDING
Customers are required to provide USA Direct PHL (UDP) with accurate product description and values to fulfill the Automated Export Statement (AES) requirements. By sending cargo through UDP, the customer agrees to all restrictions and conditions specified below, as well as agrees to free UDP from liabilities, fines, penalties, forfeitures or other costs arising from the customer's failure to comply with said requirements.
Restrictions and Conditions: UDP does not accept any goods requiring issuance of export license by the Department of Commerce, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Treasury Department, or any other agency unless, at the time cargo is tendered, it is accompanied by all necessary licenses and other documentation.
